I am Tayla Millar, a 27-year-old graduate with a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) from UTS. I have dedicated over 13 years to education and creative development, completing my HSC in 2017 and pursuing studies across a range of creative disciplines.
Throughout my education, I developed a strong passion for Visual Arts, Textiles, Fashion Design, and Visual Communication. I also completed both Beginner and Advanced Fashion and Design Workshops at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, followed by a Diploma in Design and Architecture at UTS:INSEARCH. These experiences have provided me with a diverse creative foundation and allowed me to develop a strong understanding of design principles, conceptual development, and visual communication.
Over time, I have developed a distinctive graphic style that reflects my personal interests, experiences, and evolving design perspective. My work has been shaped by university projects, experimentation, and the influence and guidance of fellow designers and creative practitioners. Each project is highly personal and concept-driven, drawing on my experiences while allowing me to continually refine and develop my individual design aesthetic.
I am excited to continue building my career within the design industry, expanding my knowledge and skills, and exploring new creative opportunities. My goal is to create meaningful and visually engaging work while continuing to grow as a designer and, ultimately, progress towards a career in creative direction.
